Abstract
Nuclear reaction involving positively charged particles require the knowledge of coulomb wave functions, which describe the relative motion of two positively charged particles interacting through their coulomb fields, can be expressed in terms of whittaker’s confluent hypergeometric functions by the equations. Expansion of the irregular coulomb function is known in terms of m functions of arbitrary order.
