Abstract

Business Opportunity (BO) needs dynamic business collaboration and rapid distributed solution. Legacy systems are not enough to cope with it, this raise the need to address diverse aspects of distributed computing concepts that support the various capabilities. One of the main trends of distributed computing is what called Collaboration Network Organization (CNO). Unfortunately; there is a lack of researches in this context.
In this research thesis we tried to identify and specify a comprehensive roadmap for Dynamic Virtual Organizations (DVO) construction. The proposed framework construction passed through three main stages:
The first stage is adapting Matos et al. framework for modeling Collaborative Networks Organization. The resulted work called “Federated Collaborative Networked Organization Model (FCNOM)”; in which we extend ECOLEAD modeling perspectives to include other four perspectives namely; organizational’ behavior, CNO federation, customer relationship management and external environment.
The second stage is proposing generic and hence reusable knowledge components for the VBE/DVO creation. The resulted work called “Virtual Business Collaboration Construction Conceptual Knowledge Model (VBCKM); in which the essential knowledge component that must be considered in order to automate the construction of a collaboration modeling is specified.
The last stage suggesting deployment architecture based on Grid/Cloud environment. The resulted work called “Collaboration Network Organization (CNO) Grid-Cloud Convergence Architecture (CNOGCA) “.
Finally, our proposed framework has been proved in the insurance sector domain as a case study.
