Abstract
start their flowering in an crlicr stage of the growth cycle,
that topping at an erlicr poriod than 60days could be rocom- mended
for la~ger increases in their growth and yield.
It should be pointed out that the topping treatnents
had much .smaller effects than the fertilization ones in these
experiments. Topping at 60 days does not seao to hn.ve any
effects an the seed size or the oil percentage in nost cases.
