Abstract
The present study was carried out to measure the bond strength of different types of lingual retainers using different types of composite materials.A sample of 112 extracted sound human lower incisors and canines were collected and prepared for bonding after mounting in acrylic blocks for shear bond strength testing.
The total sample was equally divided into 8 groups. Each group consisted of 7 acrylic blocks where the different types of retainers were bonded to the teeth using the 2 different adhesive systems.
