المستخلص

The education institutions seek on its different tevels to introduce
learned subject content for the student who represent the learr
process axis this will suit their abilities on the basis of teaching methi
varity which deals with the content to over come the indivic
differences amany students.
Also, thisx to mastery learning in the education writings to improve
learing process level, “ smith’ found ( 1969) that the more individL
mastery were to what they learning, the more mastery for work tI
were, and performing the duties. They like the arrangments and tI
have. Clear aims.
Strategy for learning master is one of modern and important learn
stralegies that sport education deals with because it depends on
student understanding of the nature of the duty the he’ll learn throt
content division into small learning units it use a big number of tests fr
a diagnose kind through each learning lesson through which we
identify the extent the students reach the mastery level 80%. It deper
on feed back to those who didn’t achieve the mastery level in small grc
pictures, the while mastery people depend on enriching activities so
strategy gives additional time inside the learning lesson in which
errors are corrected to make the students reach to 80% to the mast
level according to their speed and special abilities.
The educational value to such kind of learning is represented in his
introduction to the continuous feedback to the student to achieve his
continuous learning and it’s effectiveness.
The learning mastery affirm the individnal differences but refuses to sU
in front of it asahinder. So it is a style admits the responses differencie
among individ- uals
But take this difference as abasic to the effective learning to raise•
performance level of those individuals.
Basketball is one of the movement activities which characterized witl
lot of skills that needs from the player to incorporate more than one ~
in one frame and performing it in harmonizing. So basketball
considered one of the sports which the movement performance level
the compound movement skills affects the skills movement even if
movement from the simple or difficult kind beside the ability to join thE
movemet in a complete movement model in a compoundskill shape.
Research Problem
Basketball is considered one of the subjects that Qena Faculty
sports in south valley university deside and which is educated to gr2
three Tn the second term. Through the researcher work and her te~
of practical applying for basketball subject, she noted:
1. The students performance level weakness for some basic s
basketball.
2. The depending of the traditional methods in teaching le~
motivation absence to some students in learning.
3. The lack of diffenent teaching strategy method in the le
process.
This leads the researcher to the wide readings to reach t
strategy to learn some basketball skills. The researcher ga~
attention the strategy for learning master that concentrat on the u~
learning substitutions beside giving enough time to the learning p
to reach the mastery degree. Also this style considered the md
differences among learners. These are the problem which we
care in the teaching process.
The researcher had to perform this research which its impc
indicated in being one of the trials that perform the mastery Ic
strategy and knowing it’s effectiveness on skill learning in basketb;
designing learning units using mastery learning strategy to mal
students in Qena faculty of sports reach to the mastery level in
basketball skills.
Research Importance
1. The research came as aresponse to a lot of researchers,
and conferences. It seeks to use untraditional teaching stra
order to modermise teaching and improving the learning
back. This to achieve a high level of educational aims.
2. Mastery learning strategy for “ bloom’s” philosophy is repre
in introducing stage lessons for the students who have midc
low level. These level lessons seek to reach. The need
performance level.
3. Results of this research high light Mastery learning strategy
importence and effectiveness particutary to faculty of sport.
Research Objective
This reach aims at
1. Designing learning units for some attacking units in ba~
using Mastery learning stralegy.
2. Recognizing the Mastery learning strategy on the skill perfor
for some attacking skills in basketball for Qena faculty of edL

Research Hypothesis:
1. There is a difference between before and after measurement
the experimental group in the skill performance for so
attacking basketball for the sake of after measurement.
2. There is statistic difference between after measurement and
expected objective in the skill performance level for so
attacking skills for the sake of after measurement.
Research curriculum:
the researcher has used the trial curriculum using the trial diagn
by using after and before measurement because he suits the resea
nature.
Research Population:
The research society represent grade three Qena faculty of sp
south valley university years 2011-2012(40 students)
Research Sample:
It has been chosen to perform a research test by using adeliberal
way from grade three students.
The sample consisted of ( 20 ) students from the total research sock
beside (15 ) student.
Research tools
a) Equipments
b) Reference Survey.
c) Skills tests.
Implementation experience:
- The researcher has applied learning lectures for basketball skills
19-3-2012 Monday to 30-4-2012 Thursday. There was on lectun
week for ( 6 ) weeks. The lecture takes (120 ) minutes. The vacat
has been taken in consideration through the applying period.
- The application has been done at basketball playground in so
valley university.
- The application has been done using mastery learning strategy in
basic part from the lecture.
- The researcher prepare and teach the attack skills, this with the h
of basketball subject teacher and under the supervision and t[
attend in most of the teaching time.
- The after and before measurement have been phototed and also m
learning lectures by avideo camera to make sure that the researc.
has performed the research and show the different skills learning.
Statistical treatments:
The researcher collected the extracted information from the re~
measurement and this is an introduction for manuplating the inforr
statistically.
The statistic manuplation that suit the research nature has been in
follow:
- Mean Arithmetic. - Skew ness.
- Percentage. — Median
- Deviation Standard. - T. test.
Conclusions:
In the light of this research and its aims, assumptious, the s
manipulation for information, and the result discussion, we came to
conclusions:
1. Using Mastery learning strategy has its positive effect on Uperformance
level in basketball.
2. The learning programme by using Mastery learning
positively on the skill performance level.
3. Mastery learning strategy correct errors and skilled supervisic
4. Mastery learning using increases the effectiveness of sti
desire for learning and the arrive to skill mastery level by
enough time and presenting different learning choices.
5. Mastery learning using give the chance for the learner tc
according to his own speed in the learning.
Recommendations:
In the light of research results the researcher recommended:
1. Strategy for learning master application because of it’s p
effect in sport activities learning.
2. Using strategy for learning master in learning basketball s
faculty of sport.
3. Using strategy for learning master in the other sections ( lik
training section- sport administration section ) because
positive effect on the skill performance level.
4. Making training circles for the teachers to stop at the most r
learning styles and making series studies according to sport
kind.
5. The importence of taking teaching strategy that gives an el
role or the learner through the teaching process.
6. Modernizing the methods of teaching through using tc
strategies in learning that benefit the students.
