Abstract CMR is the best modality for imaging LV systolic function and myocardial mass. The SSFP technique provides high spatial resolution, excellent image contrast, and short acquisition times. For cases in which breath-holding or ECG gating is not suitable, real-time MRI can be used with only minor degradation in image quality. Because CMR can be performed in certain planes such as shorttaxis and long-axis views, the assessment of LV function can be accurately quantified. In addition to standard cine CMR, tissue tracking techniques can be used that may improve accuracy in detecting wa\\ motion abnormalities (114). CMR also is capable of providing accurate data on global ventricular function gcometry and tissue characteristics (presence of fibrosis) as well. Offering these unique features, CMR seems to be the noninvasive imaging modality of choice to fulfill the needs of fundamental science and to study function, geometry, and tissue characteristics in relationship to impaired cardiac function and advanced therapies in vivo (56). Among 50 patients had history of ischemic heart disease (IHD), dyspnea was the most shared symptom. Hypertension and smoking were most represented risk factors. All patients had undergone the MRI study were be performed at the Ain Shams University Hospital. These studies were including Cardiac MR with gadolinium. Tagged, Cine, early enhancement, and late enhancement images were achieved during the same imaging session. All MR imaging data analyzed on a separate workstation. For evaluation of cardiac function; global and regional ventricular functions were calculated as follow: The global ventricular function including: Left Ventricular End Diastole volume (L VEDV), Left Ventricular End Diastole Volume (L VEDV), and Ejection Fraction (EF).
