Abstract
HCC is one of the most common tumors globally, with varying prevalence based on endemic risk factors. In high-risk populations,including those with hepatitis B or C or with cirrhosis, serum AFP and screening ultrasound have improved detection of resectable HCC.Few randomized clinical trials address the different management options of HCC, which makes the establishment of an evidence based treatment difficult. i Most of the recommended approaches are based on heterogeneous Iobservational studies.
