Abstract Includes Bibliographic References.1- Number of days from sowing till harvest The application of ascorbic acid (0.1gm/L) recorded the shortest period till full heading in both growing seasons which were 109.72 and 111.30 days followed by salicylic acid (0.1gm/L) which recorded 110.77 and 112.68 days in both seasons while foliar spraying on plants with citric acid (0.2gm/L) recorded the longest period till full heading in both seasons foliar application of zinc sulphate decreased significantly period till full heading in both seasons compared with untreated plants (control) in the two successive seasons of 2005/2006 and 2006/2007. Addition of zinc sulphate decreased period till full heading in both seasons over control by 7.18 and 7.97 days in the first and second season respectively. |
