Abstract This thesis proposes to examine the religious, soci:d, political and official roles of the six daughters of Akhenaten and Neferiiti; Meritaten, Meketaten, Ankhesenpaaten, Nefernefertlatell ta-sherit Neferneferurec and Setepenrec• The importance of this thesis stems from the fact 1 hat it deals with the documents which declares the different sides ofthC’ life of the daughters of Nefertiti, their religious, social, political and official life, their relationship with each others and with their parents, their own lives and how they met their ends. There are many studies and books written ahout the Arnarna period. No wonder it is one of the most if not the most at: ractive and interesting periods in the whole ancient Egyptian history. Nevertheless, questions are far more numerous th~n answers concerning many aspects of them, their lives and death, their relations to their father and his successors. So, the researcher choose this subject especially to shed some light on this younger generation of the i\marna roya I hOll:;eholcl as a family and ns individuals trying to answer some of these qLw’)tions.
