Abstract

in modern society, more and more people spent most of their time s. Therefore, indoor air quality in residences, offices and other non rial places and proper distribution of conditioned air plays a major 1 both human thermal comfort and indoor air quality.
The object of heating, ventilnting, and air-conditioning system is :reate the proper combination of temperature, humidity, and air ion in the occupied zone of the conditioned room to satisfy the Ifort requirements of the occupants.
There are several aspects of the performance of displacement ntilation: temperature distribution, flow distribution, contaminant stribution, comfort, energy and cost analysis and design guidelines. Iso ventilation rate, cooling load, heat source, wall characteristics,
pace height, and diffuser type have major impacts on the performance of jisplacement ventilation.
There are many factors which influence the indoor airflow such as air distribution design and building construction. Consequently, it is appropriate and economical to choose turbulence models according to the situation that is to be predicted. The rising stream around a human body attributes to metabolic heat (heat produced by the worker’s body) can carry contaminants from the floor level to the human breezing sy~tel11. A sweeping movement of air with low turbulence would be desirable to move contaminants from the sources and out of the building before they mix with air in the breezing zones.
