Abstract The aim of this study was to was to compare the fracture strength of CAD-Temp material and composite resin 3 Unit Bridge. Materials and Methods: A total of 20 bridges were constructed, 10 bridges were made by the CAD/CAM milling technique (Cerec-inlab) using the Temp-CAD temporary blocks while the other 10 bridges were made by the indirect fabrication technique using a composite resin temporary material (Tempspan). Before the fracture tests, all the bridges were luted with Tempcem NE cement on the epoxy resin models. All of the bridges were subjected to fracture strength testing using Universal Testing machine and the mean in Newton was calculated for each group of samples. Data were collected, tabulated and statically analyzed. |
