Abstract In this work the nuclear structure study of some eveneven mass isotope in the mass region A 160 has been performed. The study in bases of both experimental and theoretical methods. The experimental work has been undertaken making use of gamma singles and gamma-gamma coincidence spectra. The theoretical work extends the previously proposed dynamic version of the collective model [Zvanov and Mitroshin] for calculating the energy levels of even-mass Gd isotopes. The results obtained are to great extent successful in describing well the energy levels and/or the backbending phenomena in those nuclei. Comparison with experimental and the main theoretical models is discussed. |
