Abstract SUMMARY Opuntia species have been used by humans for thousands of years besides being consumed as food or beverages, most portions of the plants have been used as medicine and in modern times have also been commercially prepared as capsules, drinks ,pills or powders. Preparations of prickly pear are the treatment hyperclipidemeia, anti-diabetic ,diarrhea obesity and gastrointestinal , this study aimed to study the effect different levels of prickly per (pulp, seeds and skins) on hyperlipidemeic rats.The study was carried out using 5%,10%, 15%pricky pear pulp, 5%,10%, 15%pricky pear seeds and 5%,10%, 15%pricky pear skins, study chemical composition of pulp ,seeds and skins of prickly pear * The study of Biological experimental was carried out as follows: Rats were divided into 11 groups 5 rats in each group and fed several diets for 28 days as follows: Control (-) : This group was fed on standard diet only |
