Abstract
This thesis consists of four chapters, the researcher studied through covering rough set as ageneralization of rough set, he related between some topological concepts and the covering rough set.Chapter one is devoted to give comprehensive study for the basic concepts of rough set theory and give examples for properties of rough set theory,in chapter two studied the rough set theory from the point of topology the researcher related between some topological concepts and the lower,upper and the boundry approximation space.In chapter three the purpose is to study the neighbourhood system as aconcept of topology and using it in the defination of the covering lower and upper approximaton. In chapter four the researcher introduced the complete decision tables and incomplete decision tables he studied the various cases for the missing attribute values.
