Abstract
this study was conducted over three consecutive
seasons i.e.1985/86,1986/87 and 1987/88 seasons
on 22-years old valencia orange trees budded on sour
orange rootstock grown in the orchard of agricultural
research station at mallawi.
the soil was well drained with awater table not less
than two meters and clay loam in texture .
the main objectives of this work were studing
the effect of gibberellic acid and cycocel on some vege
tative growth characters,leaf chemical composition and
fruiting characteristics of valencia orange.
