Abstract
The ectoparasitic Mite Varroa Jacobsoni represent an increasing threat to beekeeping worldwide.In order to face such problems,the ecological Feature of the population of that parasite was required. Looking for an effective treatment and studying its side effects is also needed.
The present work was conducted ti study the following points:
1- studying the population dynamics of Varroa Mite.
2- Evaluation of Apistan Stripes is control tool against mature and immature stages of Varroa Mite.
3- Effect of Apistan treatment on the longevity of honeybee workers.
4-Determination of Apistan (fluvalinate) residues in products of treated colonies either in honey or bee wax.
