Abstract This study was carried out to investigate some anaerobic pathogenic microorganisms of health important for man and animal which may be found in soil of different animal species (cattle- horse- sheep) and the results revealed isolation of different species of Clostridal bacteria by different percentages related to chemical properties of the examined types of soil. C.perfringens showed adaptive response at different environmental conditions as it isolated in a higher percentage in different animal soils. Experimental study revealed that, isolated clostridia remain viable but their count reduced by time also formalin in a concentration of 5% is the disinfectant of choice due to high potency and its cheap price. |
