Abstract
This work was carried out on the accessory genital glands of 30 apparently healthy male donkeys of the ages ranged between 2Y2 to 5Y2 years. The available literatures dealing with the accessory genital glands and its arterial blood supply in the various species of domestic animals and human were reviewed. Different anatomical techniques were used according to the purpose under investigation. The gross topographical and morphological features was studied in detail and the mean value of length, breadth, thickness and weight of each gland were estimated and statistically tabulated. A comprehensive description of origin, course and pattern of distribution of the internal pudendal artery and it’s various ramifications to the accessory genital glands is done. The results obtained were discussed with those recorded on the corresponding scopes in the other species of domestic animals.
