Abstract
Respiratory diseases of animals are of economic importance because of the losses and high death rates caused by them. Respiratory diseases produce great losses to the live stock industry in many ways. The present study was planned for studying the efficacy evaluation of freshly prepared bovine respiratory virus vaccine (pneumo-4) and studying the effect of certain factors on the validity of pneumo-4 Vaccine at different temperatures at 45C In refrigerator at 18-225 C in room temperature, at 375 C in incubator also studying changes in pH value. Efficacy evaluation of the freshly prepared combined inactivated vaccine (Pneumo-4) was conducted in the Laboratory as follows: Sterility, safety and purity tests was performed on mice and calves and revealed that there is neither clinical abnormalities nor deaths were observed potency evaluation of vaccine by using serum neutralization test and enzyme linked immnnosorbent assay for 6 months after vaccination, the results indicated that the prepared vaccine was valid and potent according to the American protocol. Studying the effect of certain factors on the validity of pneumo-4 vaccine as follows, the thermostability of pneumo-4 vaccine at 45 C in refrigerator is valid for 14 months of storages the thermostability of pneumo-4 at 18-225 C in room temperature fonnd that vaccine is valid for 21 days of storage, the thermostablility of pneumo-4 vaccine at 375 C in incubator found that vaccine is valid for 14 days of storage, the pH value pf pneumo-4 vaccine when adjusted to 6-9 PH, found that the vaccine is valid and the PH value of pneumo-4 vaccine between 7-8.5 is the best of choice.
