Abstract A total of 420 faecal samples were collected from different species (cow - calves, lambs, equine, chickens and human) The O.M.P.s. of 3 isolates from each of calves and lambs and 2 isolates from each of chickens, equine and human were studied . The immunoblotting analysis of O.M.P. of all isolates revealed that the isolates of different animals shared bands at 24, 28 and 46KDa. In Western blot analysis of Salmonella Typhimurium O.M.P. reacted with protein bands at molecular weight of 24, 28 and 46 KDa. peR for the detection of inv A gene present in all Salmonella Typhimurium isolates. The results of RAPD PCR proved that all isolates were similar in certain genetic characters. |
