Abstract RT-PCR technique, cytological examination, serum tumor markers, immunohistochemical and histopathological studies were applied on dogs and cats suffered from mammary tumors. Fifty animals were used in this study. The collected samples included (15) normal control and (35) specimens from animals suffered from different types of mammary tumors. The study revealed a significant elevation of telomerase enzyme activity and cancer antigen 15.3. The cytological, immunohistochemical and histopathological findings were discussed and illustrated in color plates. |
