Abstract This thesis is devoted to study the solutions of the classes of the nonlinear partial differential equations. Many methods have employed for the analytic treatment of the nonlinear partial differential equations. This thesis contains eight chapters, In chapter one, we survey the numerical methods which are used to solve the partial differential equations, also survey the methods used to generate exact solutions for the nonlinear partial differential equations. In chapter two, we have used the homotopy perturbation and the Adomian decomposition methods to study the nonlinear coupled Kortewge-de Vries and shallow water equations , also we are using the variational iteration method (VIM) to the Korteweg- de- Vries Burgers (KdVB) equation and the Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation |
