Abstract This study is aiming at describing the nutritional practices of obese women and the factor influencing it and finding out problems encountered among obese women , it was found that 35.8% of obese women stewing her food compared to 21.1% of non obese women, additional higher percentage of obese subject were using ghee , fat of animal origin than those of non obese ones , the most striking finding was 45.5% of obese women compared to 34.1% of non obese ones preferred pickles, moreover a greater percentage of obese women always preferred sweet than non obese ones, moreover nurse need to be trained on 1 assessment of obesity. |
