Abstract
In this work, the DC Corona Current-Voltage Coaxial cylindrical configurations with Straight and helical discharge wires are studied. Also, the distribution of prebreakdown streamer pulse amplitudes are determined when these Configurations are stressed by impulse voltages. Oscillograms describing the number of corona streamer pulses, the amplitude of the pulses and their randomness are recorded under peridic high- voltage pulses to investigate the impulse corona characteristics.
