Abstract
The Aim of The Work is to evidence date indicates that ghrelin is an important endocrine peptide that links the gastrointestinal system and brain in the regulation of food intake and energy expenditure ln this work we investigate the role of ghrelin in glucose homeostasis we deign three contol disitlled water iniected group low dose (o.5 nmole / kg) iniected group and high dose (1.5 nmole / kg) iniected group in order to study the effects of intrta - peritoneal administration of the hormone for one week on glucose insulin growth hormone corticostreroids and body weight.
