Abstract
Aim of the work
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of a soluble mixture of carbon bean, sorghum and rice flour in the treatment of acute diarrhea among young children.
Conclusion
Our results indicate that soluble mixture of carbon bean, sorghum and rice flour can be effectively and safely used in treatment of infants and young children having acute watery diarrhea with some dehydration.
Recommendations
We recommend the use of the mixture in treatment of acute watery diarrhea in young children because this natural mixture is safe, effective and has antidiarrhial effect with no complications as other antidiarrheal drugs.
