Abstract This study was carried out at the poultry farm of the Department of animal production, Faculty of Agriculture Minia University to evaluate the effects of different sources of anti-heat stress components on performance, carcass characteristics, some metabolic responses and body temperature. At the start of experiment, two hundred and seventy unsexed one day old arbor acres were obtained. The chicks were divided into 6 treatments, each of 45. chicks of each treatment were subdivided into 3replicates each of 158. the experiment was terminated at 6 weeks of age. The chicks of each replicate were allocated in cage with slatted floor of iron. This study was carried out during summer, whereas average ambient temperature was 32.26±5°C and relative humidity averaged 76.87% |
