Abstract This current work was carried out at the experimental farm of the faculty of Agriculture, Minia university during 1981 and 1982 seasons. The experiment aimed at studying the effect of potassium and some micronutrients particularly fe, zn and Mn on the growth, yield,yield components and chemical composition of maize variety Giza 2. The experiment consisted of 25 treatments, the first Twelve treatment received the three-micro-element (fe, zn and Mn ) in chelated form single and their combinations or commercial fertilizers such as stimufol, folifertile, fetrilon and Abo-Nakla 2 along with NPK addition .the second twelve treatments received the same micronutrients or the commercial Fertilizers along with NP but with out potassium addition, while Treatment No.25 did not receive and fertilizers. |
