Abstract
Oxygen metabolism in living cells leads to the unavoidable production of ROS which are involved in the onset of many diseases. ROS attack the unsaturated fatty acids of biomembranes, which results in lipid peroxidation and the destruction of proteins and DNA. this leads to a series of deteriorative changes in the biological systems which results in cell inactivation and appearance of several diseases. Hence the importance of this study is to find some antioxidants from natural sources as plants for use in the prevention of diseases.
