Abstract
The activity of spinels is a virgin scope of investigations in heterogeneous catalysis. Chromites have been ohosen for this study on account of the known variation of valency (2-6) of Cr ions During their preparation. thereforefore, Zn, Mg and Ni chromites were prepared in different curing media. Moreover, two different parent chromia samples (chromia gel and ? -Cr2O3) Were usea to allow for better understanding of strutural effects on activity.
