Abstract In Minia , there is a difference between soil temperature in winter and summer ; soil temperature reaches in winter 14 ◦C , whereas in summer temperature rises up to 59◦C . For this fluctuation in temperature , the study of seasonal variation and its effect on soil microflora , organic matter , nitrogen content as well as enzymes activities is of great agricultural importance .
