Abstract

plant height:-
Iron application had a effects on plant height in both seasons. Plant height was increased as iron concentration increased and tallest plant were obtained from plots received iron at the concentration of 200 ppm which were significantly taller than those obtained from the lower concentrations.
Zinc application had light effects on height in both seasons. Plants sprayed with 200 ppm Zn were slightly taller than those obtained from the lower rates. Differences in plant height means between 0 and 100 ppm were not significant in both seasons.
Results for first and seasons show that plant height were (55.226, 52.080; 54.346, 51.972 and 57.330, 54.771) for the control, 100 and 200 ppm Mn in both seasons, respectively.
