Abstract This experiment was conducted during two consecutive seasons 1993/1994 and 1994/1995 on Red Romy Grapevines planted in a private vineyard situated at Dairout district, Assiut Governorate. The merits of this study was evaluating the efficiency of certain herbicides namely, Atrazine, Diuron and Oxyfluorfen on weed control, behaviour of buds,vegetative growth, leaf chemical composition yield and quality of grapes. Also, the sublethal effects of such three herbicides which sprayed on vines on the above mentioned characters were also conceriment. The tweinty-three herbicide treatments involved this experiment were arranged as follows: 1- Unweeded check 2-Hand hoeing (threetimes). 3- Spraying weeds with Atrazine at 750g/efd 4- Spraying weeds with Atrazine at 0.5 ppm. 5- Spraying weeds and vines with Atrazine at 0.5ppm. 6- Spraying weeds with Atrazine at 1.0 ppm. 7- Spraying weeds and vines with Atrazine at 1.0ppm. 8- Spraying weeds with Atrazine at 2.0 ppm. 9- Spraying weeds and vines with Atrazine at2.0 ppm. 10- Spraying weeds with Diuron at 4.0 kg/fed. 11- Spraying vines with Diuron at 0.5 ppm. 12- Spraying weeds and vines with Diuron at 0.5 ppm. 13- Spraying vines with Diuron at 1.0ppm. 14- Spraying weeds and vines with Diuron at 1.0ppm. 15- Spraying vines with Diuron at 2.0 ppm. |
