Abstract This study was preformed during two consecutive seasons 1997/1998 and 1998/1999 in a private orchard situated at Taha El-Beshaa vallage, Beba district, Beni Suef Governorate on the third and fourth rations of hindy banana cultivars (Musa cavendishii L). the soil texture is silty clay. The soil is well drained with a water table not less than two meters deep. The merit of this study was testing the effect of foliar nutrition with urea, potassium sulphate , magnesium sulphate, zinc sulphate, iron chelate and boric acid on the yield, artificial ripening and quality of Hindy banana fruits. |
