Abstract
For most of solar energy applications, it is necessary to measure or predict the amount of global, diffuse and direct solar radiation arriving on a horizontal surface at any specified location.A comparison study was done between menia and helwan , and revealed that the Gvalues for meina are higher than that for helwan by 23%, while for I it Is 30% . The difference in B1Is 11%, while it is 51% for B2 and it is 30% for B3. the linke and Angstrom turbidity factors values for menia are lower than helwan.
