Abstract The Aim of the Work The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between biochemical markers of liver fibrosis, platelets and coagulation parameters: prothrombin time and factor VII Results: In comparison of each parameter of laboratory investigation between both groups .It was found that there was significant difference between both groups in absolute neutrophil count ( p 0.019), platelets count (p 0.00017 ) , AST( p 0.00064 ) , ALT ( p 0.0081), GGT( p 0.000001 ) , total bilirubin ( p 0.03114 ) , direct bilirubin( p 0.0009) , prothrombin time( p 0.000046) , prothrombin conc.( p 0.000003) , factor VII conc.( p 0.00061 ) and haptoglobin ( p 0. 000088 ) . In addition there was strong correlation between: 1) Total bilirubin and factor VII. 2)Haptoglobin and platelet count. 3) Haptoglobin and prothrombin conc. 4) Haptoglobin and factor VII conc. 5)Apolipoprotein A1 and prothrombin conc. 6) Apolipoprotein A1 and factor VII conc. On the other hand there was no significant correlation between ALT: platelets, p. conc., factor VII conc. and absolute neutrophil count. No significant correlation between Total bilirubin: platelets, p. conc. and absolute neutrophil count. No significant correlation between GGT: platelets, p. conc., factor VII conc. and absolute neutrophil count. No significant correlation between α2 macroglobulin: platelets, p. conc., factor VII conc. and absolute neutrophil count. No significant correlation between Haptoglobin and absolute neutrophil count. No significant correlation between Apolipoprotein A1: platelets and absolute neutrophil count. |
