Abstract present study entailed studying the evaluation of nutritional status and health status of some secondary school pupils in Ashmoon Minufiya governorate.The sample was selected randomly from different socio-economic levels,and consisted of 50 girls and 50 boys,aged between 14-18 years. 7-1 For that endeavor some measues have been used as follows: 1-Anthropometric studies;measurements of weight,height and arm circum ference were measured for the samples of adolescent as a nutritional status. 2-Socio-economic studies,including parent’s education and occupation,family size,family income and the percentage of income which bought per food. 3-Food habits studies. 4-Nutritional study;information a bout food consumption patterns through the use of the 24hr-recall method,using composition tables,nutrient elements contained in the food ingested were obtained.There are energy,protein, fat,carbohydrate,fiber,and also included minerals and vitamins were compared with the respective values reported by recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA). |
