Abstract Theoretical procedures for calculating the longitudinal component of electron scattering form factors from multiparticle shell-model wave functions are presented. These procedures are used to compare shell-model predictions with the corresponding available longitudinal form factor data for octupole transitions in these nuclei. The effective charge value for each of Millener and Brown has been used to improve the shell-model predictions but, these values has improved the data for some states. We suggest different values of effective charge which describe the experimental data but no definite value is obtained for the six states. A suggested model is given by mixing configuration not included in model space. It has been found that the transtions s-f give some contribution to the shell-model. |
